E3 2013: Sony Reveals Indie Games Plan

Adam Boyes, Sony Head of Third Party Relations came on stage to announce the introduction of an indie game created by Super Giant Games, creators of Bastion, followed by a raft of other indie developers supporting Sony’s next generation console exclusively.
Two of the employees of the company came on stage to show Transistor, a new indie game for the PlayStation 4. A stylized looking game that plays from a top down perspective. From the trailer, the game looks quite exciting.
Indie developers can now also publish their own games to the PlayStation Store. There is also a new section for the PlayStation Store specifically for indie games.
Klei Games, Tribute Games, Young Horses, Switchblade Monkeys, Red Barrels and 17 Bit Games are among the many indie developers being lined up for exclusive console debuts on the PlayStation 4.
